Important Guidelines and Information: DUE: FRIDAY, APRIL 1, 2011
Planet Research Project: This is an in-class partner laptop project. Your group will be researching details of an assigned planet and compiling the information as a PowerPoint Presentation. After, your group will present the most important details about your planet to the class. As a class, we will be compiling the details of each planet and then performing comparative analysis of the planets in our solar system.

- Present Planet Research PowerPoint to the class
Assigned Planets
PLANET: Period 2 Period 3 Period 4
Mercury*: Edi and Shannon Michael and Christian Brendan and Brian
Venus*: Audra and Selena Carol and Cassidy Nick and Linda
Earth*: Omar and Victoria Jennifer and Richie Hannah and Meghan
Juedi, Brian, and Robert
Mars*: Wafe and Lindsey Alyssa and Chris Carmen and Haley
Jupiter: Gurpal, Wesley, and Ali Mackenzie and Wally Elizabeth and Leandro

Saturn: Natalie and Karla Mohammed and Fabian Samantha and Andy
Uranus: Jennifer and Tia Joe and Kaitlin Sarah and Cody
Neptune: Robb and Sakeenah Hailey and John Vincent and Robert
Pluto*: Jessalyn and Leandra Rajaa and Melissa
Gabriel and Lexi
Note: *** If you are assigned Mercury, Venus, Earth, or Mars: you are required to add many more content, photos, and captions for full credit. You still need the same number of slides, so you should replace slides that do not apply to your planet (like "Rings")with more content and pictures with captions of your planet.
*** If you are assigned Pluto: you are required to replace pages that do not apply to your planet with a definition of a dwarf planet and examples of other dwarf planets. Check here for more information.
*** Why? Students researching gas giant planets have more work to do than you. They have to write about more moons and rings!
